I was late for work today because a snapping turtle was in the middle of the road and I couldn't leave it there to get hit..it wasn't walking AT ALL..just sitting there. I couldn't pick it up because I read in my handy reptiles/amphibians field guide that they can reach pretty far back if they want to get you...so I took my ice scrapers(2 of them) and tried to pick him up...he was really heavy. So I tried to just lift him and make him go faster. I finally got him to the shoulder of the road, leaving me with less than 10 minutes to get to work. I had a skirt on and people were driving by...they probably thought I was crazy. Oh well. A turtle lives. :) *giggle* |

Well, today is Gary's b-day...he's the ripe old age of 23 today. lol. Very often I find myself driving and just smiling. I TRULY didn't understand what trust and pure love was until he came into my life. It's like I can do no wrong. I am just me and he loves everything. To quote Juno, it's like he thinks the sun shines out of my ass or something. I always had this feeling that whoever it is just doesn't want me around, that I am annoying, that I should not talk and just leave people alone...I even feel it with my family and close friends...not cause of them, but because of my own insecurities. But with him I feel like that princess...I feel like I am gorgeous and I am smart and everything you wish you felt about yourself. He's my one! He accepts me 100%. I love him so much that there aren't even words to describe it. Like I could go on and on for days and days and you still wouldn't understand it. Okay..enough gushing...I miss my girls. I miss dinners with the girls and drinks at patty's and open mic nights and blah blah blah. I MISS YOU GUYS!!!! |

So Lynn went into labour at 2am-ish. She had the baby at 3:40pm. I got home from work at 11pm-ish..was on the computer for a bit and got the call...didn't get to bed until 8pm-ish. I was sooooo tired. I also forgot to eat for about 24 hours...oops. Oh and Lynn was tired too..lol j/k. I took all the pictures and videos for them. It was so cool.. He is so perfect and cute. I cried. He was 8 lbs and 2 oz. Everyone was crying...it was awesome. |

Four-plan... Living no further than a 3 block radius of each other. Weekly game nights. Long, undyed, old lady hair. That's the plan so far...updates will follow. So we have decided today is officially 'don't get out of your chair' day. Unless it's for bathroom breaks, we are not allowed to get up even to go for lunch or for those who smoke... if you DO get up, you are docked a mark and whoever has the most marks at the end of the day has to buy coffee for the other two. I like my job! I already have one mark and so does denise. |

Recently there has been a lot of discussion involving religion in my social circle and I got to thinking... Do I admire the people who have such strong faith that they TRULY believe that everyone is wrong and that their beliefs are correct? If you really think about it, true faith IS feeling so strongly about something and trying to spread the word and tell everyone you know so they can see how awesome(in your opinion) your faith is. In their minds, they are doing you a favour by trying to help you see the true path of enlightenment. I can't decide if I think it's silly to believe in something even though you don't have any proof or concrete evidence OR if I admire their conviction. I really don't know. I KNOW I don't want to be judged or harassed for what I believe. |

Today started out HORRIBLY!!! But is ending on a great note. I love my friends and there is nothing better than getting giggly with your friends, then watching stupid 80's movies...My Stepmom is an Alien to be exact. We do NOTHING and have a blast....LOVE IT!!! YAY |
